Welcome to my reaLm of loneliness

To & CC

It seems a lot of people these days do not realize that they are cultivating a bad habit when they communicate through emails. People conveniently use a group mail address to send all sorts of emails and half the time, these emails do not involve or concern most of the people within the mailing group. Hence, most of these emails will just go unread by its recipients.

Just because there’s a mailing group address, it does not mean you can send an email to that address and expect your message to reach a particular someone within the group. To effectively reach out to your targeted recipient(s), the proper way is to add him/her under To: or CC:.

Whenever I go through my emails, I always sort them under To: and CC: columns so I know immediately which emails are directed to me or require my attention / follow up. If you do the group mail way of emailing, there is a 99% chance of me totally missing it.

Do not blame me if I miss your email. You only have yourself to blame for not using the right way of adding mail recipients when sending emails.

NOW you know!
